Return and Cancellation Policy

This Return Policy applies to healthy back in the office programmes purchased from SpineShift (Shouldersvital) including Desk Posture Foundations, Team Flex Hour Programme, and SpineShift Enterprise Rollout. Because our products are live educational services rather than physical goods, cancellation and credit rules differ from standard retail returns.
1. Consumer Cooling-Off Period
If you are a consumer booking for yourself and not through a corporate contract, you may have a fourteen-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for distance contracts. This right may not apply if you requested that services begin within the cancellation period and the first session has already been fully delivered with your prior express consent.
2. Business and Corporate Bookings
Where your organisation enters a business-to-business agreement, cancellation terms are as stated in your booking confirmation or master service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed, the following standard terms apply to programme fees paid to Shouldersvital.
3. Cancellation by You
- More than fourteen calendar days before the first scheduled session: full refund of programme fees paid, minus any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred on your behalf if disclosed at booking.
- Between seven and fourteen calendar days before the first session: fifty percent credit toward a rescheduled date within six months, or twenty-five percent refund at our discretion based on facilitator allocation.
- Fewer than seven calendar days before the first session: no refund, but one complimentary reschedule may be offered subject to facilitator availability if you notify us promptly in writing.
- Failure to provide access to the booked workplace or virtual meeting without notice is treated as a completed session and is non-refundable.
4. Rescheduling
You may request one free reschedule per booking if made at least forty-eight hours before the session and the new date is within ninety days. Additional reschedules may incur an administrative fee of £35. Team Flex Hour and Enterprise packages may include enhanced rescheduling terms stated in your confirmation email.
5. Cancellation by SpineShift
We may cancel or postpone sessions due to facilitator illness, severe weather, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases we will offer a new date or a full refund for the affected session. We are not liable for indirect costs such as room hire you have arranged separately unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
6. Partial Programme Delivery
For multi-session programmes, if you cancel after some sessions have been delivered, fees are refunded proportionally only for undelivered sessions, calculated on a per-session basis from the total package price. Digital materials already distributed remain licensed for internal use as per our Terms of Use.
7. Digital Materials
Downloadable guides and reminder templates provided before cancellation are not eligible for separate return. Once sent, they cannot be recalled; refunds relate to live facilitation only.
8. How to Request a Refund or Credit
Email info@shouldersvital.world with your booking reference, organisation name, and reason for cancellation. We confirm receipt within two business days and process approved refunds to the original payment method within fourteen business days. Credits are applied to your account for future SpineShift bookings at shouldersvital.ddd.
9. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve issues fairly. Unfounded chargebacks for delivered sessions may result in refusal of future bookings.
10. Satisfaction and Quality Concerns
If you believe a session did not meet the described scope of your purchased programme, notify us within five business days with specific details. We will investigate and may offer a partial credit or repeat module where appropriate. This does not guarantee outcomes for individual comfort, as results vary by participation and workplace conditions.
11. Enterprise Rollout Specific Terms
SpineShift Enterprise Rollout contracts may include bespoke cancellation schedules, train-the-trainer deliverables, and quarterly review milestones. Where a signed enterprise agreement exists, it prevails over this standard policy for conflicting terms.
